THE SKELETAL SYSTEM
wow.. this was the topic i really enjoyed..
we talked about the different parts and names of our bones..
i thought at first that our skeletal system has only one component..
but then i realized that there is a hard type of bone which was the outer part and inner part or spongy types of bone which was a weak one..
and, i realized how great God is because He gave us bones.. and without bones, there might no places muscles would be attached to.. or we might can't move, can't do or can't walk because there's no support for our body..
i'm very happy that i learned a lot in this skeletal system ;]

THE ENDOCRINE SYSTEM
hmm.. i got bored at first in this topic... because i thought it wasn't important at all.. but, as we went on about the topics,. it grabbed my interest..
endocrine teaches me how i was now today. i mean, why i'm this tall, i was tan, why there were sickness in humans.. it is all because or the hormones which was excreted by the glands of the endocrine system..
everything were in order and each hormones have each gland.. and that's the greatest thing i learned.. that every organ here inside my body, were special in their own way.. and i should value them much because they were the ones who control the balances in my body..
and that's what keeps me healthy..

THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM
yihee... ;] this topic was enjoyable..
at first again, i thought it was boring also because we tackled this already when we were still in elementary. but something had grabbed my real interest that makes me enjoy listening and studying about muscular system..
muscles were the ones allow us to move.. these were the soft cells and tissues that were held tightly together in bundles... and i learned that muscles had different types..
i thought it was only one.. but then again, there were three: the skeletal muscles, the cardiac muscles and the smooth muscles.. there were also two types of them, the voluntary and the involuntary muscles.. these were the muscles that responds to what we want, whether voluntarily or not.. ;]

INTEGUMENTARY SYSTEM
this was the topic about the outer covering or the body..
i learned a lot about this topic...
i learned about the different type of integumentary organs of different organisms..
for humans, we have the skin.. it was the largest organ in human organs..
for birds, they have their feathers which were their outer covering organs..
for turles, they have their shells.. it is a hard skin that protects them from their enemies.
for snakes, they have their scales, which can be replaced if damaged..
i enjoyed studying this topic a lot..
this made sense because it refers how to care for our own integumentary system..
CELL DIVISION
and this was the topic i really enjoyed, besides that it was also a topic in my favorite movie: TWILIGHT.. anyway, i learned much about this.. from how one organism becomes a parent which envolves asexual or sexual reproductions..
for asexual reproduction, it doesn't involve the sex cells.. it was a division of the cells where in the chromosomes or DNA's where similar or alike to that of their parents.. like for example, a bacteria... it only involves one single parent that results to two diploid cells.. this cell division was called MITOSIS or MITOTIC CELL DIVISION.
for sexual reproduction, this involves two parents that results to a haploid daugther cell.. this was the process in human.. it involves the sex cells to produce another organism.. the DNA's replicated but it was not fully alike of that of the parent. a croosing-over was done that results to have the DNA and chromosomes of both the parents.. now, this was called MEIOSIS..
then again, cell division under go for stages, whether mitosis or meiosis, which are, prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase.. i learned a lot about this things.. ;]

THE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM
plants and animals have reproductive organs.. and i learned that it is very important because if there's no reproduction, they would no continuation of life here..
in plants, it would reproduce sexually or asexually..
this involves the parts of the body of plants for asexual reproduction and sex cells of the plants which can be found in the flowers for sexual reproduction..
in animals, this involves two parent sex cells.. the egg and the sperm..
i really enjoyed studying this because it cleared my mind on the questions bout my menstrual cycle disorder.. well, it was normal then, just we need to be clean and to take good care or our sex organs..
